A few thoughts…

Think I’ve got writers block because I have a hundred and one things I want to share with you folks out there but it all looks so wrong every time I type it out in Word first. This will probably be my twentieth attempt in writing a entry for today as it has been two days since I’ve last added something worthwhile on stooly.com

It has been really quiet this week at work, well a few of us have to work during the Christmas break while the lucky few who actually booked those days in between all the bank holidays got to sit at home. On a positive side, there was a lot of space on the busses, trains and tubes because a majority of Londoners stayed at home. London looks so much different without the hordes of people on the pavements each day, a feeling of calmness in the air.

Well on another note, I had some time to think about how I want to develop stooly.com a bit further to bring you folks information you can actually use and not all the corporate bullsh*t all the other websites feed you. We’re definitely going to compose a downloadable PDF document you all can download about living in London and what to expect, it is going to be exclusive to stooly.com, stick around!

Seasonal Humor

Majority of people are sitting at home enjoying the nice bank holiday. Some of you lucky folks had extra money to blow on those Boxing Day Sales today, by the way, there is still time if you missed today to grab a bargain. We have been at home today browsing on the internet, what else is there to do which does not cost me any more money considering how far away the next pay check is!

We found a few interesting websites that might actually be fun to visit, who knows, you might even share it with a few more friends and enjoy a laugh together. Now that Christmas has come and gone, the build up for New Years is underway. Anyone doing anything spectacular this year? Leave a comment if you’re up for it.

Boxing Day Sales

It is a little known fact that Londoners go shopping crazy the day after Christmas on Boxing Day when stores across London slash their prices by up to 70%, which is not a bad deal at all. I can promise you now that Central London will be chaos even though it is a public holiday but you should see the build up to after Christmas Sales. If you want to get that item you have had your eye on for a while but it was too expensive, you can now raid the entire store for next to nothing.

No wonder people say that January will be the hardest month out of the year with credit card debt at its highest and six long weeks until the next pay day. All these bargains across London are hard to avoid, unless you lock yourself in the cupboard for the entire day! (hehe)

Just to prove how crazy we all go for Boxing Day sales, this specific post has already received over 63 hits, that is just for today! Seems like we have a few eager beavers out there that can not wait to bag a sale or two! Oxford Street should be a joy tomorrow!
