
We use to stay on a very busy high street where we had to endure the milkman in the early mornings with his bottles hitting against each other as he made his way down the street or the garbage truck not giving a damn about whoever they wake up. It just occurred to me that we live in a better area now, the street is still as busy but at least I can hear the sound of silence ring in my ears every now and then.
