Time sure flies when you are having fun and the time has come for me to renew my passport. This is not a fun task but it has to be done if I want to stay here in the
Considering that I am a foreigner, I need to visit my country’s embassy to apply for a new passport. This is not always an easy task to do especially when there is no information available on the Internet to help me along. This will be why you will read of my trip to the Namibian Embassy!
I was gob smacked when I found out

Yup, I am over the moon with how well the seedlings are developing. Best part of it all is that I have only spend £2 to get it all started and the excitement alone is probably worth more than that! One thing that did not work is the drying out of seeds to grow them myself but I will get there one day!

Planted the rest of the seeds now that I’ve seen they are coming to life so pretty soon I will have window sills covered in little plants. This is obviously going to attract a few more bugs but oh well, going to be worth it or so I hope!
It is almost that time of the year again and this year we’ll definately take part in Earth Hour! You’ll see the hundreds of invitations flying around all over Facebook to take part to make this event bigger and better… after all, it is all for the good of mother earth! See what can happen when we all pull together… it is something small, yet if everyone does it… it can make a difference!

So to take part in Earth Hour 2009, all you have to do is switch off anything that feeds of the mains for an entire hour on the 28th of March 2009 at 8:30pm local time! What are you going to do?
