What about all the parks the capital has. They are all free to get in and they have events and lovely flower displays, fountains, mazes, birdlife and fish etc
My favourite is Regents Park.
The only downside is parking charges are steep all around the parks. But if you are walking or cycling about then you have no worries.

Dont forget about FreeCycle, most of the free stuff from the people around the world, London has it on all districtis.

Tammy, you could always try Gumtree or Craigs List. A lot of people are giving away free kittens and puppies but you’ll have to pay for their first shots which is about £30-£40 depending.
