Barbara, I would love to help you with any questions but I’ve got “rubbish” translator to help me!

Anyone else half understand what Barbara is trying to ask?

    Hello.

Great site you’ve got here. Barbar is asking in Portuguese. She wants to know where’s the half to ride a skare in London…I’m assuming she’s asking for the half-pipe, but I’m not really a skate fan, so I maybe wrong.

btw, I’ve got a question for you guys: what about pets? I?m still considering moving to london to work, but I’ve got 3 cats and I would like to know what cares are needed for having cats at home there…for instance, in rented places, is it generally allowed to have pets?

    thanks

    Hi Luis,

Thanks for that, I know of a few places if that is what she wants to know. :)

Pets? Well, in our own experience it is much more difficult to find a flat that is pet-friendly. You will have no problem with a majority of houses but it can prove to be still quite difficult. Our last three contracts stated that we’re not allowed to have a pet without the owners consent but I am sure you can still negotiate with them on that matter.

I would recommend you try and post a free advertisement on Gumtree to see if there are any landlords that will allow you to do this. Gumtree has a lot of people visiting daily and I am sure that there are a few private landlords who are animal lovers.

    Ok, I’ll do that. Thanks.
