I woke up this morning to find a pleasant surprise on my way to the kitchen for my daily dosage of caffeine, a thick layer of fresh snow on the rooftops outside. This is London what we’re talking about, hasn’t been snowing at all this year, except for the little bits of snow over the Easter Weekend.

This time there was a lot of snow outside. We were so excited about the change in the weather that we dashed outside with the camera like kids and played in the snow. Yeah, I know we’re grownups but that made it all the more fun.  The snow was nice and thick on the grass, made a crackling sound every time you take a step. We could even see a few footsteps of foxes or squirrels that were there before us, although I am pretty sure it was foxes instead of squirrels, hehe!

Summer should be around the corner soon but for today we’ll enjoy the white blanket of snow outside although it is starting to melt now at a rapid pace. Oh well, that is probably the last snow we will see this year or we could be lucky and see a bit more in December.
