London is a wonderful place, like you’ve probably heard before through all my daily ramblings but there are a few things that still work on my nerves. One of those things is the lack of public toilets in this wonderful city. Travelling to your nearest high street can take up to an hour, depending on traffic and all sorts and we all know that a bumpy bus ride or tube ride does not do “wonders” for your poor bladder. By the time you get there, you’re half desperate to find the nearest public toilet, never mind the shopping then.

Don’t get me wrong, you do get a lot of public toilets but when you do find them you have to fork out at least 30p to get in, which is not bad if the facilities are at least clean but what happens when you have no money on you? What do you do then? I don’t think I even want to start thinking about that scenario, hence why I try to carry around change with me wherever I go.
Oh, I might as well mention, do not even ask the shops to use their toilet facilities if you do not intend to be a paying customer. A lot of shop owners have plastered hand written signs all over the place to make that very clear! Here is a handy tip, nip into a fast food restaurant such as McDonalds or KFC if you are out and about. They are normally too busy to watch you sneak passed them, hehe!
