The weather in London has been really bizarre over the last couple of days. There is only so much one can say about the weather in general but it has actually inspired me, if you can call it that to write about London’s weather, not that I am an expert or anything. A lot of people always ask the same old questions when they want to come to London for either a holiday or to make London their new home.

First of all, London is no Los Angeles with the constant sunshine but do not for one minute think that Londoners never see the sun. London experiences all the seasons in all its glory which is actually exciting as you can watch London’s surroundings transform right in front of you. There is a slight glitch with the weather pattern in London this last year and we’ve been experiencing bizarre weather conditions but that is probably due to climate change.
Good advice would be to invest in a good pair of jeans, a warm jacket and some flip flops for those warm months. The London year works like this, January until March is still pretty much winter although the weather likes to trick us in February with the odd spells of sunshine and then surprise us with a couple more weeks of winter. April until October is pretty much the summer season where you can expect wet days, windy days and extremely hot days, but hey; it’s what Londoners live for. Middle October until December is winter again; brace yourself for mid-December snow, if you are lucky enough.
