Snail Mail

There is one thing that ticks me off about sending post to another country and that is that someone always has to be corrupt along the way and snoop through your mail. Folks, in case you are still doing it, do not send money through the post. It guarantees that the letter with the money will never ever reach its destination. You have to be a bit more creative when you send Christmas Cards or even Birthday Cards these days because a lot of “corrupt” people still think that you will enclose money and they will steal it.

Here is the perfect example of a Christmas card we received from some relatives. We did not even have to tear the envelope open; someone manhandled it already for us. I can not believe that the post office actually delivered the card even though it looked like someone took it from the trash.

A clever way of sending post to another country is to write a fake tracking number on the side of the envelope or parcel. That makes people a little scared. Try using clear tape on all sides of the envelope. The fake tracking number has ensured that all of my mail found their way the way it should be.
