I do really treasure my time travelling from and to work on the London transport system, believe it or not. It is the best time to sit and think about anything and everything. You can normally get the Metro, which is a free newspaper at most bus stations and tube stations but I’ve been unlucky in getting one on my route to work. My guess is that everyone clings to their copy to make the journey into work much shorter and more entertaining. My morning travel time is normally spent gazing out of the window even though I’ve seen the buildings a hundred and one times.

Evenings you’re able to grab either The London Paper or The Lite which are both a bit similar but each has their own columns that attract readers. I greedily grab both copies to catch up with local events and national stories. The best part about these free newspapers in London is that there is this unspoken rule when someone reads the paper; they leave it behind in a good readable manner so that the next person can catch up as well without throwing it away. This is a great way to recycle newspapers in London and to get to know a fellow Londoner.
